Roadside Culture Stands

The Wormfarm Institute Roadside Culture Stands integrate culture and agriculture. These mobile farm stands are designed and built by artists through a competitive process, and used to display and sell fresh local produce as well as the work of local artists.

During the summer, Roadside Culture Stands are located in rural and urban settings. The rural stands reinforce the message ‘Eat the View’ – if you want to preserve working rural landscapes, eat from the food chain that created them.

The urban stands are located within inner city neighborhoods – with little or no access to fresh, healthy food, but often served by plenty of processed food or fast food restaurants.

During the Fermentation Fest, we’re delighted to have the Culture Stands return to Sauk County and the Farm/Art DTour.
