With a huge variety of flavor and styles, craft beer is widely being recognized as an alternative to wine and cheese pairing. Hear from experts as you taste your way through two of Wisconsin’s favorite fermented foods.

Sara Hill is the Manager of Cheese Education and Training for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York, Sara has worked in the specialty food and cheese industry for over 32 years. She has been involved in buying, selling and marketing cheese and has traveled to Europe extensively searching for wonderful cheeses to bring to the US. Her concentration in the last 15 years has been on American Artisan Cheese. She is the National Educator for Wisconsin, in charge of all cheese education materials. She is a former board member of the American Cheese Society and has been inducted into “The Guilde Internationale Des Fromagers.”

Scott Manning, is the visionary brewmaster & co-founder of Vintage Brewing Company – a passionate evangelist in support of Wisconsin’s craft beer renaissance. He has over 20 years brewing experience in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California. Scott is a dual-threat brewer. His years of travelling and studying abroad have inspired a keen understanding and dutiful devotion to crafting classic world beer styles.  He’s also an adventurous flavor-ninja willing to pull the notion of ‘beer’ further and further from center…yet always with a guiding conscience of ‘balance and drinkability’. Vintage Brewing Company beers have been graced with critical and consumer acclaim, as well as national and international championships and medals.
