Homebrew Start to Finish

October 8, 2017, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm



Brew a batch of beer from start to finish so you can get a firsthand look at the whole process.  Special emphasis will be placed on the role of yeast in brewing, including spontaneous (wild) fermentation and different styles of beer that originate from variations in the strain of yeast. During the downtime in the brewing process, sample homebrewed beer, beers from the Corner Pub and other fermented snacks. A tour of the Corner Pub brewery will be conducted if time permits.  Students take home a 1/2 gallon growler of starter beer to enjoy after a few weeks of fermentation.

Participants take home ½ gallon growler of beer.
All guests planning to consume alcohol must be 21 or older.
Check-in begins 10 minutes before the start of this class.
